POSITION SUMMARY

To further enhance our focus on providing a valuable partnership with all areas of the business, we are seeking a progressive leader in the role of Accounting Business Analyst.? This position will report directly to the Controller and will be accountable for the delivery of all aspects of system technical leadership for the accounting team.?

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Company leadership:
  • Business Partner with all areas of the business to enhance the communication and integration with the accounting department.
  • Represent ARC at external software user group meetings and participate in client advisory boards.?
• Employee leadership:
  • Lead and train accounting employees on Qbyte ? develop training modules in all key areas
  • Developing a set of accounting best practices
  • Train and mentor staff
• Technical leadership:
  • Be an integral contributor to the creation of business intelligence reporting
  • Initiate projects to help automate user processes
  • Assisting with the creation of custom reports for users
  • Review and approval of roles within accounting applications
  • Lead the testing and implementation of accounting system upgrades
  • Lead and manage the on-going process of data clean up required in order to maintain the strong integrity of the data within the accounting systems.? Be able to work effectively with individuals from other departments who are supplying source data to accounting and ensure that integrity of data is maintained.????

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The individual we seek will have at least 10 ? 15 years of focused foundational experience in all aspects of general ledger accounting with a particular strength in the areas of system expertise and in particular Qbyte FM.? In addition, the successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:?

• Proven track record of exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to execute
• Outstanding relationship building capability and a collaborative working style - strong team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Well developed teaching and mentoring skills combined with the ability to influence and drive change
